Florence Nightingale audio tour to launch
A new audio tour of London will be launched by the Florence Nightingale Museum on 13 August to mark the 100th anniversary of the iconic nurse's death in 1910.
Visitors will be guided through Mayfair and around a series of locations in the capital that mark significant events during Nightingale's life, such as a perfumery in Jermyn Street and the house the nurse died in.
Soundmap has created the downloadable audio tour for the museum and will be made available via the attraction's website for £7.99. The tour also includes a map of the hour-long route through London.
A spokesperson for the museum said: "As well as allowing the listener to learn about Florence's personal ties and revisit the parts of London most important to her, the walking tour contains interviews with a variety of Florence experts."
