The Observatory Hotel, the Sydney property of the prestigious Orient-Express Collection of Hotels, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Spa Director to manage and direct our award winning Day Spa.

This is an opportunity to be involved in a Day Spa that was voted 2009 Spa of the Year by the AHA. The Observatory 5 Star Day Spa exclusively uses La Prairie, continually has celebrity clients and hosts spa events with brands such as Jimmy Choo, Tiffany's, MAC and more.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role is a key member of the management team who will establish and assume responsibilities for the effective and efficient direction of The Day Spa at the Observatory Hotel.

You will be qualified in spa operations or similar discipline as well as have extensive exposure to spa operations. It is essential that you value and care for your team as the most invaluable aspect of your department. You will demonstrate a dynamic leadership style and the passion to drive continuous improvement in systems and processes across all areas of support services. In addition, the ideal profile will have the inter-personal skills to operate across all levels and functions of the organization. You must have excellent presentation, exceptional customer care, superior communication skills, commitment and enthusiasm to learn as well as a positive, friendly attitude.

Previous experience in a quality driven customer service/hospitality role is essential and a desire to work in our 5 star Spa facility.
